Vadodara: Gujarat is seeing a decrease in floodwaters and ongoing rehabilitation efforts. However, the city of Vadodara is still grappling with major issues like floods, inundation, and crocodiles!

A video making the rounds on social media shows two men carrying a crocodile while travelling on a scooter.

The clip captures the men relocating the crocodile, which has its mouth taped shut. One man rides the scooter, while the pillion rider holds the crocodile horizontally.

According to reports, the men are part of animal rescue activities in Vadodara's Manjalpu and have been identified as Sandeep Thakor and Raj Bhavsar.

The video shows them on their way to relocate the crocodile and hand it over to forest officials.

Recently, many crocodiles have been rescued from residential areas in the city.

Vadodara is famous for its dense crocodile population, especially in the Vishwamitri River, which flows through the city. The Mugger crocodile, also known as the marsh crocodile (Crocodylus palustris), can often be seen basking along the riverbanks or even within the city limits.
