Trump vs Harris Debate: Megyn Kelly has issued a stern warning to Donald Trump ahead of his upcoming high-stakes debate against Kamala Harris on ABC. The 53-year-old commentator advised Trump to be cautious of the Democratic nominee’s potential strategies, suggesting that Harris might employ tactics designed to unsettle him.

Kelly’s Insights on Harris’ Debate Tactics

On RealClearPolitics, Kelly explained that Harris is being coached to remain calm and avoid personal attacks from Trump. Instead, her team is reportedly focusing on presenting Harris as a composed figure who isn’t easily rattled. "It's less about substance and more about portraying Harris as a resilient woman," Kelly noted, according to an NBC report.

Advice on Handling Gender Dynamics

Kelly further cautioned Trump to be mindful of how Harris might leverage her gender during the debate. “He has to be careful,” Kelly said. “He can’t be aggressive, even if she is aggressive towards him.” This advice comes amidst a backdrop of Kelly and Trump’s past disagreements, which seem to have eased since they appeared to be on better terms, including Trump’s 2023 interview with her.

During a 2023 SiriusXM interview, Kelly confronted Trump about his past derogatory comments about women. Trump’s response—limiting his remarks to Rosie O’Donnell—led to a discussion where Kelly praised Trump’s handling of the situation.

Despite past tensions, Kelly acknowledged Trump’s improved debate performance and rising poll numbers.
