The incidents, heard at approximately 6 AM local time (IST 5.26 PM) on Tuesday, were concentrated around "580 Main Street, south of the Roosevelt Island Bridge & Tram," as detailed by CBS New York, a US media outlet. Firefighters, as seen in a video posted in local media reports, noted that the exact nature of the emergency remained unclear.
