New EV Bike in Market: Indian electric mobility startup, Revolt Motors launched its new electric motorcycle for the market recently. Revolt launched the RV BlazeX, which is positioned in between the RV400 BRZ and the RV400. The electric two-wheelers are mainly used to commute from point A to point B, and the Revolt RV BlazeX says it delivers convenience, comfortable ride, and is easy on pockets.

Revolt Motors organised a media ride on a go-kart track to experience the new electric motorcycle. On our short ride, we were able to highlight some key aspects of the vehicle. Here is our experience:

Revolt RV BlazeX Design:

Starting with the design language of the Revolt RV BlazeX, it has a similar silhouette as compared to other Revolt motorcycles. The front has round-shaped LED headlamps and LED DRL, LED indicators for a premium aesthetic. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks, and the front has disc brakes to ensure confidence while stopping.

On the side, the tank gets graphics and buyers can select it from two colour options. The seat of 790mm is comfortable for riders of every height and the seat is decently cushioned to offer comfort while riding. The charging socket is located on the right side. The rubber flap used for the closing of the charging socket was flimsy, and it would barely take any effort to break it.

At the rear, it continues to offer LED DRL LED tail lamps and indicators. The pillion has strong grab handles for holding. The suspension duties are taken care by dual shock absorbers. The Revolt RV BlazeX comes with a chain-drive system, giving a similar design aesthetics as an ICE bike.

The quality levels on different parts of the electric motorcycle are majorly decent. That said, coming to the plastics, which is used for the switchgear could be of improved. Perhaps a better quality cover made of plastic and one that fits flush would be ideal.
