Zomato rolls out Xtreme, forays into logistics services segment

Restaurant aggregator Zomato has launched ‘Xtreme’, which allows merchants to send and receive small parcels. The move is to diversify the company's revenue and make use of its wide network of delivery partners.

Xtreme provides services such as live order tracking of packages by merchants and customers, security and reliability, and helps businesses boost their business through efficient delivery of packages, according to the application description on Playstore.

Shares of Zomato soared nearly 2 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 111.90 per share. However, as of 2:04 pm, shares were trading 1.23 per cent higher at Rs 111.15 per share.

Zomato shares' 52-week high is Rs 113.25, while its 52-week low is Rs 44.35. The food delivery company’s market valuation is Rs 95,724.46 crore, according to data from BSE.
