T20 World Cup 2026: Zimbabwe Cricket, on Friday, January 2, announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, which is set to begin from February 7.

39-year-old Sikandar Raza has been appointed as the skipper of the Zimbabwe Squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.

Blessing Muzarabani To Lead Zimbabwe's Pace Attack

After recovering from an injury, Blessing Muzarabani has also been added to the squad. Muzarabani will lead the Zimbabwe pace attack in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, alongside Richard Ngarava, Bradley Evans, and Tinotenda Maposa.

Meanwhile, veteran Graeme Cremer and Wellington Masakadza will take care of the spin attack in the squad.

Youngsters Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani will be strengthening Zimbabwe's batting lineup. Brendan Taylor will be keeping the wickets; he will also add some strength to the top three of the batting lineup.

Zimbabwe To Begin T20 WC Campaign On February 9

In the 2026 edition of the T20 World Cup, Zimbabwe have been placed alongside Australia, Ireland, Oman, and Sri Lanka in Group B.

The prestigious ICC tournament is scheduled to begin on February 7. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will open its voyage in the tournament against Oman at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo on February 9.

Following that, the Sikandar Raza-led side will take on Australia at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 13. The team will then travel to Kandy to face Ireland at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on February 17. Zimbabwe to conclude their group fixtures against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium on 19 February.
