Ind vs SA: The Indian team is now staring at an embarrassing whitewash at home against South Africa and fingers are being pointed at coach Gautam Gambhir. Currently, it is the third day during the ongoing second Test in Guwahati and the hosts are already trailing 0-1 in the two-match series. Even before the game gets over, fans are requesting former India cricketer Virat Kohli to come out of retirement and play Test cricket for the country.

While he comes out of retirement or not would be interesting to see, here is how fans are requesting.

For the unversed, Kohli time and again claimed that Test cricket is the ultimate format and in a way was a global ambassador for red-ball cricket. He was instrumental in leading the side to their maiden WTC final as well. In 123 Tests, Kohli amassed 9230 runs at an average of 46.85. This includes 30 centuries as well. His highest score in Test cricket is 254*.
