Mere Husband Ki Biwi Movie X Review: After a long wait and some trolling, the romantic comedy starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh finally premiered in cinemas on February 21, 2025. The trailer sparked mockery over the complex plot and cast. However, since its release, the film appears to have got audience interest, receiving a mix of positive responses in theatres. Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share mostly mixed reviews.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi: Hit or flop?

Going by the early reviews of viewers on X (formerly Twitter) the comedy film has made its place in the hearts of its audience. One viewer wrote, "It's the kind of film that makes you laugh, makes you feel something, and keeps you hooked till the end. Bas aise aur films chahiye Bollywood se!"

Another commented, "Dekhne baithe the timepass ke liye, but movie ne kab engage kar liya pata hi nahi chala! Writing strong hai, performances solid hai, aur story relatable!"

A third shared, "Mere Husband Ki Biwi is the kind of Bollywood film we need more of... smart writing, solid performances & no extra masala! Bas story aur characters hi enough hai to entertain."

However, some criticism emerged. One viewer remarked, "Not a family film at all. I went with my father, and it was so embarrassing." Another wrote, "Bad decision to watch this. What kind of acting is this? Though I expected this from Arjun Kapoor."

What are the cast and plot of Mere Husband Ki Biwi?

Mudassar Aziz directs Mere Husband Ki Biwi, with Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh producing the film. The cast includes Aditya Seal, Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, Shakti Kapoor, and others in pivotal roles. 

The story follows Arjun Kapoor as Ankur, a Delhi-based realtor who starts a new romance with Rakul Preet Singh’s character after facing challenges and divorcing his ex-wife, portrayed by Bhumi Pednekar, who suffers from retrograde amnesia.
