Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor The New Jodi In Dhoom 4? Stree 2 Actress Says 'I've Officially...'

Dhoom 4 is back in the news after reports surfaced that Ranbir Kapoor will be headlining the project. While there is no confirmation on behalf of the makers about a new Dhoom film in the offing, social media has been buzzing with the prospect of seeing the Animal star enter one of the most loved action franchises in Indian cinema. As Ranbir's name was associated with the project, some leading ladies too were linked to Dhoom 4. Among them was Shraddha Kapoor.

Will Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor reunite in Dhoom 4?  

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar marked the first onscreen outing of Ranbir and Shraddha. The rom-com was a commercial hit and their pairing was loved by the audiences. This 2023 release of Ranbir was followed by the blockbuster success of Animal and Shraddha was recently seen in Stree 2, which emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

Given the success of their respective films and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar turning out to be a hit, it was natural to link the two stars with an upcoming project and Dhoom 4 happened to be in the news. Now, Shraddha has broken her silence on the matter. When asked about being offered the next installment in the franchise, the actress said at an event, "I've officially signed no film, but I don't know where these rumors come from. Half of the rumors they say I've signed. I've not even been offered."

When will Dhoom 4 go on the floors?

The next chapter in the Dhoom franchise has been in discussion for long. However, nothing concrete about the rumoured project has come to light. According to a recent report in Pinkvilla, Dhoom 4 will be a reboot and the OG cast of Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will not feature in it.

The project has gone into the pre-production stage, with YRF looking to take the film on floors by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Once Ranbir wraps up shooting for Love And War and Ramayana 1 & 2, he will work on this much-awaited movie.
