Sivakarthikeyan starrer Ayalaan to not avert a clash with Captain Miller, Lal Salaam
Ayalaan will witness a clash with not one but three films - Captain Miller, Lal Salaam and the Tamil version of Merry Christmas - on January 12 at box office.
The makers of Ayalaan, starring Sivakarthikeyan, are gearing up for the trailer launch today, January 5 in Dubai. Ahead of the launch, the makers reaffirm the film's release date amid the reports of makers pulling out of the Sankranti race. Due to several Tamil films clashing at the box office in Sankranti week, rumours were rife that Ayalaan might get postponed.
Ayalaan to not skip the Sankranti release date
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), KJR Studios, the production house, shared the film's new teaser and revealed that the film will be released as scheduled - January 12. The caption read, "Ayalaan is all set to land in a week. Get ready as we bring you an experience that transcends the ordinary. #AyalaanFromJanuary12."

The makers also informed the fans that the trailer will release today at 8:07 PM.
Ayalaan to clash with three major Tamil films at the box office
Ayalaan is the upcoming science-fiction action drama with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. It will witness a clash with not one but three films - Dhanush starrer Captain Miller, Lal Salaam and Tamil version of Merry Christmas, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. All three are highly anticipated films of the year. So, one has to wait to know how all four films perform at the box office.
Ayalaan gets a U certificate
Apart from the release date, the makers also revealed that the upcoming sci-fi film has got a U certificate from the CBFC. “#Ayalaan: An intergalactic ride for all ages; Rated ‘U’ for universal fun-filled experience,” read the caption on X (formerly Twitter).
Ayalaan revolves around an alien who accidentally stumbles onto Earth and befriends a group of humans who protect him from the scientist. The film stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar in the supporting roles.
