Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna scripted history nationwide. The action thriller became the latest Indian movie to earn over ₹1500 crore globally. Thought people loved the film, a teacher from Hyderabad differs from this opinion as school students turning into spoiled brats.

Allu Arjun’s portrayal of Pushpa Raj mimicked by students sparks heated discussion on social media

In a recent meeting with the Education commission, many school teachers and Head Masters of different government school teachers in the city participated actively in regard to Pushpa 2 making a bad influence on school students. According to a report in Gulte, government school teacher from Yousufguda, Hyderabad, has reportedly claimed that Pushpa 2 has spoiled students. Reportedly, the headmistress has voiced out her opinion saying that students in government schools are becoming more difficult to handle.

Aș per report, the teacher said, “They don’t behave well and pick up bad language from their streets and homes. Especially, their hairstyle is very odd, and when we try to tell them to change it, they pay no ear to us. Even the parents also not concerned about it”.

An X user too expressed her view and said, “To the principal, If you truly believe students are getting “spoiled” by watching films like Pushpa and getting influenced by them, then I’m actually glad they’re taking inspiration from cinema. So, I sincerely request you to screen films like 12th Fail, Super 30, Udaan, Anjali, 35 CKK, and Swades for them every single day. Let’s see how many of them magically turn into those characters." Netizens were quick to respond to this and one user wrote “Your answer is there in your question itself..why those inspiring movies not collected crores like pushpa?? People get easily attracted to  bad”. Another user wrote, “It’s easier to get spoilt than inspired”.

Pushpa 2 box office performance

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 shattered box office records and reached a significant milestone after it’s released in December 5, 2024. As per Sacnilk, the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer has earned ₹1206.20 crore in India in 32 days as opposed to ₹1030.42 crore minted by Baahubali 2. 

While worldwide, the Sukumar directorial raked in ₹1831 crore gross. The film also starred Fahadh Faasil, Sritej, Aanchal Munjal and Divi Vadthya among others.
