Guntur Kaaram makers drop 'high voltage' still of Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela from 'spicy mass number'

The makers of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Telugu movie Guntur Kaaram have unveiled a glimpse of their upcoming track which is expected to be a dance number. Featuring Babu alongside Sreeleela, the massy track is all set to release anytime soon and is being composed by Thaman S.

Dimple Hayathi replaces Pooja Hegde in the Guntur Kaaram song

In another surprising turn of events, Dimple Hayathi has been reportedly chosen for a special song in Guntur Kaaram, replacing the initially considered Pooja Hegde. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S Radha Krishna, the film stars Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others. Scheduled for release on January 1, 2024, the movie caught itself amid a series of script changes and casting shifts.

Recent speculations suggest that a mass number featuring Meenakshi and Mahesh, composed by Thaman S, is being reworked, fueling discussions among fans. Producer Naga Vamsi addressed these rumours on social media, clarifying that the film's shooting is progressing as planned. He urged fans not to be swayed by baseless gossip and emphasised that the recent news is fake.

This development adds to the conversations surrounding Guntur Kaaram, following the replacement of Pooja Hegde and the mixed response to the second single, Oh My Baby. Despite the turbulence, the producer assured that the film comprises four full songs and a one-bit song, with shooting progressing according to the schedule.

This project marks Mahesh Babu's return to the screen after the 2022 film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The film's storyline has been kept under wraps, with a release date set for January 12, 2024, coinciding with Sankranthi. The cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, and Prakash Raj among others.
