HanuMan is all set to hit the big screens on Sankranthi 2024 alongside Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Naa Saami Ranga. Teja Sajja will headline the superhero film directed by Prashanth Varma. On January 3, days before the film’s release, the makers released the song Sri Ram Dootha Strotam.

On January 3, makers of HanuMan took to their social media to announce the release of the song Sri Ram Dootha Strotam. The song is a reimagined version of the popular Ram bhajan. The lyrical video of the song plays out against the melodious tune composed by Gowrahari. Sai Charan Bhaskaruni, Lokeshwar Edara and Harshavardhan Chavali have lent their voice to the powerful song.
Sri Ramadhoota Stotram marks a significant milestone as the first-ever Sanskrit song featured in a mainstream pan-India film. The decision to incorporate the ancient and revered language into the film's soundtrack stems from the makers' dedication to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India. The song, carefully crafted as a Sri Ramadhoota Stotram, adds a spiritual and traditional dimension to the cinematic experience of HanuMan. HanuMan deemed fit for all ages
On December 29, Teja Sajja took to his Instagram account to share a new poster of his film HanuMan. The actor shared the poster along with the news that the film has been granted a U/A certificate deeming it fit to be viewed by audiences of all ages. The much-awaited action film will release on January 12 and how it blends action with mythology and drama is a standout point.
HanuMan director shares movie is not a ‘usual’ film but a passion project
Director Prasanth Varma said that HanuMan, the trailer of which was dropped on December 19, is not a usual movie and that it is the beginning of an epic cinematic universe. Prasanth said, “HanuMan isn't your usual movie; it's a passion project that came to life with amazing support from my team. Starting with a simple idea, the story of Hanuman unfolded, taking our cinematic dreams to new heights.” The trailer tells an epic story of heroism and power, proving that creativity and passion can overcome any challenge.
