Horrific Crash Caught on Camera: Car Smashes Into 2-Wheeler, Bikers Tossed Into Air on Pune-Mumbai Expressway

Pune: In a shocking road accident, two individuals were critically injured after a speeding car collided with their two-wheeler on the busy Mumbai-Pune Highway in Pune’s Wakad area. The horrific crash, which took place near the Tip-Top International Hotel, was captured on a dashcam and has since gone viral on social media.

According to the footage, a black sedan, allegedly driven recklessly, slammed into a two-wheeler, with the biker and pillion rider flung several feet upon impact.   

Despite the severity of the crash, the injured individuals managed to get up and took refuge on the road divider as bystanders rushed to check on their condition. They were later taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the Hinjawadi Police have registered a case against the driver of the sedan and launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are working to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and ensure accountability for the reckless driving that led to the collision.

Four Teenagers Killed in Tragic Road Accident Near Pinjore

In a separate incident, a fatal car crash on the Tipra Bypass near Pinjore in the early hours of Sunday morning claimed the lives of four teenagers returning from a birthday celebration in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh . The victims, all aged between 17 and 18 years, were Class 12 students.

The deceased were identified as Adhyayan Bansal from Dhakoli, Adeep Ashraf Ansari from Peer Muchhalla, Zirakpur, Chirag Malik from Hisar, and Vaibhav Yadav from Sector 5, MDC, Panchkula. Vaibhav was the son of Vipin Yadav, an additional advocate general of Punjab .

According to reports, the teenagers were travelling in a Hyundai Verna when tragedy struck. Adeep Ashraf Ansari was at the wheel when the car’s front right tyre suddenly burst, causing the vehicle to veer out of control. The car first crashed into a divider before slamming into a stationary truck parked on the roadside.

A friend of the victims, Nihar Jeet Singh from Peer Muchhalla, Zirakpur, who was travelling alongside them in another car, recounted the harrowing moment. He and his friends were driving in two separate vehicles— a Baleno and the ill-fated Verna. The Verna was ahead when the accident occurred around 5:15 am.
