'Maa, Mera Jeevan Narak Ho Gaya Hai...': Twisha Sharma's Chilling WhatsApp Chats With Mother Reveals Emotional Distress At Husband's Home Before Death

Noida: Chilling WhatsApp chats of content creator and former Miss Pune Twisha Sharma with her mother just days before she was found hanging at her husband's place has revealed the intensity of the emotional distress she was going through in her last days.

The chats, exclusively accessed by Republic, also reveals the helplessness of 31-year-old Twisha as she felt isolated and was allegedly being subjected to mental harassment by her in-laws and her husband, just months after her marriage.

Twisha Sharma, from Noida, was found hanging at her matrimonial home in Bhopal's Katara Hills area on the night of May 12 under suspicious circumstances. She had married Bhopal-based lawyer Samarth Singh in December 2025, roughly five months before her death. The official post-mortem cited hanging as the cause of death, but her family pointed to multiple injury marks on her body, alleging that she was murdered, and did not commit suicide. It is also alleged that Twisha terminated her pregnancy after her husband questioned her whose child she was carrying, accusing her of having extra-marital affair.

Here are the chilling chats between Twisha and her mother before her death:

‘Kyu Bheja Mujhe Yaha’

WhatsApp chats dating April 30 showed a distressed Twisha asking her mother, “Kyu bheja mujhe yaha? (Why did you send me here?)”

She also told her mother that her husband, Samarth, was not talking to her. She also told her mother that her life had become hell: “Mera jeevan narak ho gaya hai mummy.”

‘Maa Aap Mujhe Yaha Se Lene Aajaao’

In chats dating May 7, Twisha was seen begging her mother to come and rescue her from her in-laws' place.

She told her mother, “Maa, aap mujhe yaha se lene aa jaao kal please. I don't think Samarth ko ab mai chaheye hu…Pata nahi ab maine kya kiya, Samarth ne kaha hai 1 saal se jhel rahe hai mujhe. Mujhe nahi samajh aaraha hai mummy mai karu toh kya karu. (Maa, please come to take me. I don't think Samarth wants me anymore. I don't know what I did. He told me that he is tolerating me for 1 year. I can't understand what should I do.”)

The chats also revealed that she was desperate to get out of her husband's home. She told her mother to take ticket for the next day itself, saying, “Direct train bhi hai.”

She further told her mother to come alone, and not bring her father, “Aap akeli he aana...Hum saath chal lenge phir...Papa ko mat lana abhi...Chup chap nikalenge...Jaise ye sab yaha bolenge vaise kar denge...Samarth ko jo bhi theek lage ab (Come alone, we will leave together. Don't bring papa…We will leave quietly..We will do whatever they tell us to do…Whatever Samarth wants.)”

‘Koi Bhi Nahi Hai Mera’

Expressing the loneliness and isolation she felt at her matrimonial home, Twisha told her mother, “Aisa lagta hai bohot akeli hu. Koi bhi nahi hai mera. Aap sabki yaad bhi bohot aati hai. (I feel very lonely. There is no one for me. I miss you guys very much.)”

Her mother tried to assure her that she will feel good once Samarth's mood changes for the better.

‘Samarth Pooch Raha Hai Kiska Baccha Abort Kara’

The WhatsApp chats revealed that Twisha Sharma was being subjected to immense emotional torture at her in-laws' place as her husband was levelling serious allegations of extra-martial affairs on her.

Lamenting before her mother on WhatsApp, Twisha said, “Samarth pooch raha hai kiska baccha tha jo abort kiya hai! Mummy yaha par mai bus pagal ho jaungi. Mujhse nahi ho pa raha ab ye sab. (Samarth asked whose child I aborted. Mummy, I will go crazy. I can't handle this anymore.)”

She also claimed that Amma (her mother-in-law) was not willing to accept that her son could ask such a question. She added that Samarth lies to his mother.

‘Kaise Rahu Iske Saath?’

The chats revealed how badly Samarth's questions on the child had affected her mentally. She told her mother, “Ye apne ghatiya paane ki har limit cross karke baitha hai. Kaise reh lu iske saath. Shraap lagega isse mera. (He has crossed his limits. How can I stay with him. I will curse him.)”

‘Papa Se Maafi Mangwana Chahta Hai’

Twisha Sharma also told her mother that her husband Samarth wants her father to apologise to him: “Papa se naak ragadva kar maafi maangvana chahta hai.”

To this, her mother replied, “Papa maang lenge. Sorry to bol hi dete hai papa. (Papa can apologise.)"

The mother also insisted that she and Twisha's father should come to Bhopal to sort out the matter. However, Twisha told her mother to come later, saying that Samarth acts innocent and lies before his mother

She said, “Har tareeke ki gandi baat bolkar seedha ban kar baith jata hai. Amma ke saamne jhooth bolta hai (After saying several obnoxious things, he acts innocent. He lies before his mother.)”

‘Ye Sab Bohot Nirdai Hai’

Twisha seemed to be stuck in her matrimonial home, with no hopes. Her chats purportedly revealed that she was being mercilessly subjected to mental torture. She told her mother that her in-laws are heartless, saying, “Ye sab bohot zyada nirdayi hai mummy. (They are very heartless, mummy. They show no mercy. They only show mercy to lower class.)”

‘Kuch Nahi Ho Sakta Ab Sahi’

Twisha expressed utter hopelessness, saying, “Mera ab dum ghut raha hai maa yaha. (I feel suffocated here).” When her mother said that she could come and resolve the matter, Twisha lamented, “Kuch nahi ho sakta ab sahi (Now nothing can be corrected.)”

She told her mother to cancel her plant to visit her because she was scared that the situation would escalate. She wrote, “Thodi kales thandi ho tab jaake koi decision lena hai abhi nahi…Kyuki yaha par kuch bhi bawal ho sakta hai. (Let the matter cool down then take a decision because more chaos can erupt here.)”

‘Mai Buri Tarah Phas Gai Hu’

Expressing the immense suffocation that she was suffering at her husband's home, Twisha told her mother, “Mera problem hai mai handle kar lungi. Kyuki phir ye ho jayega ki saari shikayat karti rehti hai. (It is my problem, I will handle it myself. Otherwise they will think that I only complain.)”

She further told her mother that her in-laws think that her mood is off because she is taking drugs, however, they fail to understand that her mood is off because her husband is not talking to her.

“Bus ek bhi baar dil mai ye nahi aaraha hai ki inka beta he mujhe chhod kar baitha hai. Mera mood iss vajah se bhi kharab ho sakta hai! Mujhe bohot zyada ghutan ho rahi hai maa. Na rone denge ye log na hasne ki vajah denge. Mai toh bohot buri tarah phas gayi hu. (Even once they are not thinking that it is their son who has left me and that is why my mood is off! I feel suffocated here. Neither will they let me cry, nor will they give me a reason to smile. I am badly stuck.)"

‘Mera Mann Nahi Lagta Ab Kahi Bhi’

Just days before her death, Twisha told her mother on WhatsApp that she was ready to talk to her husband nicely but apparently Samarth was not ready to cooperate.

Twisha's mother advised her to talk to Samarth, saying, “Are tu bhir samarth se baat kar aaj gusse se nahi ache se baat kar ya amma se baat kar (Talk to Samarth nicely or talk to your mother-in-law.)"

To this Twisha replied, “Amma aur Samarth dono aapas mai aise baat kar rahe hai jaise kuch hua he nahi hai. Na Amma keh rahi usse kuch na vo kuch keh raha hai. Mera mann nahi lagta ab kahin bhi. (Amma and Samarth are talking to each other as if nothing has happened.)”

She told her mother that she did not like that Samarth was not talking to her, adding, "Aap sabki bohot yaad aati hai (I miss you guys very much)."

Husband Absconding

An FIR has been registered against Twisha's husband Samarth Singh and her mother-in-law Giribala Singh, who is a retired district judge, on charges of dowry death and harassment.

Both have been granted anticipatory bail, which Twisha's family is challenging in the High Court. Her father has also alleged that the in-laws, despite being educated and influential, behaved in a manner that raised suspicion after her death. The family further claimed that the household had a history of ill-treating women.

“Twisha was being harassed by her family and was accused of having an extra-marital affair. Hence, she was forced to terminate her pregnancy,” her father alleged. 

A six-member SIT has been ordered to investigate the case. Notably, Samarth is absconding.
