  • Virat Kohli (India) could break Sachin Tendulkar's record for most centuries hit in One-Day Internationals. Currently, Kohli has 47 ODI centuries to his name. He needs three more hundreds to surpass Tendulkar's record of 49 tons

  • Mitchell Starc (Australia) has the chance to climb higher in the rankings for the most career World Cup wickets. He is currently tied for 5th place with Chaminda Vaas (Sri Lanka) at 49 career wickets
  • Mitchell Starc (Australia) can also extend his record for the best bowling average at the World Cup (with a minimum of 400 deliveries). He currently leads with an average of 14.81
