QUESTION MARK OVER ROHIT'S ODI FUTURE

With so many speculations doing the rounds, a report claims that his future in ODIs would be discussed once the final is over. It is understood that the outcome of the summit clash may determine his future. This is also the reason why the Indian board has held back the fresh Central contracts of cricketers. The Indian coach and the head selector have already discussed the possibilities with the captain after the debacle in Australia.

It is understood that Rohit still believes there is cricket left in him. He has been asked to make his plans clear soon. Eventually retiring would be his call.

Team India's Mission Dubai

Rohit has led the side brilliantly to make the final without losing a single game. India won all it's three group stage games against Bangladesh , Pakistan and New Zealand.

Then they went on to beat the ever-so-dangerous Australia in the semi-final. Rohit, with the bat, has got India off to good starts inside the powerplay. He would again be a crucial player for India in the final.

He brings a lot of experience of playing in big stages and that should keep the side in good stead. India have got the better of New Zealand in the group stage but that does not guarantee anything as it will be a new day a new game.
