IND vs PAK Champions Trophy 2025 Clash: As It Happened
Pakistan tried to gain an early advantage by deciding to bat first against India in Dubai. Pakistan played to India's strengths and their decision to bat first backfired on all levels. Pakistan's stalwarts Babar Azam and Mohamamad Rizwan failed to step up and deliver yet again. It was Shaud Shakeel's 62 off 76 balls which helped Pakistan register a total of 241 runs.
India's chase looked relatively easy and it was expected to happen. Rohit Sharma came out all guns blazing and left Pakistan's Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi begging for answers. The Indian vice-captain Shubman Gill anchored the innings and helped India cruise through. But it was a Virat Kohli special which sealed the game in India's favour.
