Pakistan Rep MISSING at Champions Trophy 2025 Final Controversy; ICC REVEALS Reason Behind Mohsin Naqvi's SHAMELESS Act

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: It was a night in Dubai India will not forget soon, but for Pakistan the entire Champions Trophy 2025 has been nothing short of a nightmare and it doesn't seem to find an end. After Pakistan's premature exit from CT 2025 without a single win, the side and the selectors faced heavy criticism. The PCB, who has also been facing the heat, finds itself in an all-new fresh controversy.

Just imagine, Pakistan are the hosts of CT 2025 and during the final, not a single representative from the PCB was there in Dubai on the final night during the presentation. The Pakistan cricket board and it's supremo Mohsin Naqvi is now facing criticism. 

But now, we have clarity on why Naqvi did not attend the final night in Dubai. As per an ICC official, Naqvi was unavailable to attend the event. 

‘Naqvi was unavailable and didn’t travel’

"Mr Naqvi was unavailable and didn’t travel. As per understanding, only office bearers can be called for trophy presentation, so from PCB no office bearer was available for the same. And they (PCB) were the hosts, they should have been there," said the ICC spokesperson.

In fact, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has now ripped the Pakistan Cricket Board apart for zero participation during the final in Dubai. Revealing that there was no PCB representative during the ceremony, Akhtar reckoned that was ‘odd’. 

‘There was no representative of Pakistan’

"India has won the ICC Champions Trophy. There was one odd thing: no one from the Pakistan Cricket Board during the presentation ceremony. Pakistan is the host of the Champions Trophy, but there was no representative of Pakistan who was standing. No one was there to present the trophy. It is beyond me. Think about it. It was the world stage, you should have been there, but sadly, I could not see any Pakistan Cricket Board member there. We hosted the tournament, yet there was nobody there. Feeling very down to see that," Akhtar said in a video posted on his social media.

Pakistan were among the first team to be eliminated from the Champions Trophy 2025 after failing to win a single game. 

Following the loss, Pakistan and PCB have been facing a major backlash and then for Naqvi to skip the CT 2025 final adds to the trouble.
