He was a part of Team India's Champions Trophy-winning side which stood undefeated in the competition against top teams like Australia, New Zealand, and more. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter reached Mussoorie to be a part of his sister Sakshi Pant's wedding. Rishabh Pant had an unusual Champions Trophy Run as he could not make it to the Playing XI for Team India. KL Rahul started the games for India over Pant and he delivered the efforts which Team India needed. Rishabh lifted the Champions Trophy while warming the bench for the Indian side. But the Indian wicketkeeper-batter changed gears into celebratory mode as he made his way to his sister Sakshi Pant's wedding right after arriving in India from the UAE.

The celebration is happening in Mussoorie, where the brise is set to tie the knot with businessman Ankit Chaudhary. Rishabh headed to Mussoorie right after landing in India and joined the family for the grand celebration. In a video which has gone viral over social media, Sakshi Pant's haldi ceremony was happening and the Indian stumper looked zealous during the festivities. Rishabh Pant To Join LSG For IPL 2025 Season
After enjoying the festivities and getting some much-needed break from cricket, Rishabh Pant will gear up for preparation for the upcoming IPL season. This year, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter will be a part of the Lucknow Super Giants after he was let go by the Delhi capitals during the retentions. Pant was the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL mega auction, with LSG shelling out INR 27 Crore to bring him into the franchise.
The Lucknow Super Giants will begin their campaign against the Delhi Capitals in an away match at the ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on 24th March 2025.
