‘Rohit Sharma Is Fat’: Congress Spokesperson Body Shames India Captain Despite Glorious Run in Champions Trophy 2025
ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The Indian cricket team has been flawless in their campaign in Dubai. They have now won three-out-of-three.
ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Team India has been having a dream run in Dubai under the leadership of Rohit Sharma . The Indian captain has not put a foot wrong in the ongoing marquee ICC event and now the side find themselves in the semi-final where they would take on the mighty Australians. But, while the world is lavishing praise on Team India and Rohit in particular, there is an Indian political who think otherwise.
Congress spokesperson Dr Shama Mohamed criticised Indian captain Rohit, calling him “overweight" and “the most unimpressive captain India has ever had". Strangely, her comments have come after India beat New Zealand by 44 runs. She did not stop there as she asked what is so different with Rohit that Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and the others did not have. And as expected, Mohamed’s comment has sparked a heated debate on social media.

Australia Next For Unstoppable Rohit & Co.
The Indian team now bump into the mighty Australians in the all-important semi-final of the Champions Trophy 2025. For India, they would look to avenge the 2023 ODI World Cup final loss, but again, it will not be easy against Australia. India would have to play upto the mark to upstage Australia. In Dubai, one reckons India would have the advantage as they have played there and won three games also. The Men in Blue are used to the conditions and that should work in their favour.
It would be interesting to see if India make changes to the team that beat New Zealand. Will India go back to Harshit Rana after Varun Chakravarthy was the star for the side against NZ? The game against Australia would take place in Dubai.
