'Very hard to stop': Labuschagne cites Rohit Sharma as India's superpower in World Cup
Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma will want to add his name to the elite list of Indian captains after winning the ODI World Cup 2023.
The Indian cricket team, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, will begin their campaign in the 2023 ODI World Cup against Australia on October 8. Team India registered a 2-1 ODI series win against the Aussies and are high on confidence ahead of the tournament. The Indian team squad has a mixture of both veteran and youth talent and is the favourites to win the CWC 2023 at home.

Marnus Labuschagne cites Rohit Sharma's challenge ahead of India CWC 2023 clash
While speaking to FOX Cricket, Australian cricket team batter Marnus Labuschagne lauded Team India skipper Rohit Sharma for his free-flowing ability to score runs. Labuschagne believes that Rohit score runs without taking too much risk. Marnus Labuschagne said:
Rohit Sharma is someone who scored quite freely without taking any risks. He's very hard to stop once get going.
Marnus Labuschagne opens up on the learnings he gained from Rohit Sharma
Australian cricket team batter Marnus Labuschagne was part of the Australian squad for the 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy earlier this. Speaking to Star Sports, Labuschagne opened up about the learnings he gained from Rohit Sharma. Labuschagne said:
We got to continue to learn and make sure the first Test, the second Test is all not the same. We need to keep learning. As I said to Rohit out there when we were walking. I said ‘I am watching whatever you do, I want to learn. You guys are the best in these conditions. We are foreign to these conditions’. You learn from the opposition, you learn from the way they do it. We try and learn and grow with each game.
Rohit Sharma came back to the Indian team for the third IND vs AUS ODI match and played an innings of 81 runs. Rohit will have the golden opportunity to lead India to their third ODI World Cup title.
