ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma and his men painted Dubai blue on Sunday after clinching the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title. India beat New Zealand by four wickets to win the coveted title. India captain, Rohit, who was under a lot of pressure heading into the marquee event, responded his his critics in the best way possible.

‘Abhi ham koi retire nahi ho rahe’ - Rohit to Kohli

He was India's main man on the biggest night. His 76 off 83 balls helped India clinch the win. But what happened just after the win stole hearts. Rohit was celebrating the win with Virat Kohli near the pitch and that is when the India captain was heard saying, “Abhi ham koi retire nahi ho rahe. ******* inko toh lag raha hai (We aren’t retiring). Rohit's words made Kohli chuckle and the beautiful moment was caught on camera.

The two modern-day legends have now won the most ICC titles as India players, winning four each.

"I want to appreciate everyone who came out and supported us. The crowd here has been magnificent, it is not our home ground but they made it our home ground. The number of people that came here to watch us play and to get that result in the end was very very satisfying. Not just this game but right from the beginning, our spinners in particular, there's too much expectations when you are playing on a pitch like that, but they never disappointed," Rohit said at the post-match presentation.

Even at the post match press conference with all the media, Rohit clearly mentioned that he is not retiring now. He also urged all to bring and end to all speculations over his ODI future.
