Gautam Gambhir slams the 2019 Indian selection committee
It was the worst selection committee in Indian cricket's history. The reason is that you drop a batsman like Ambati Rayudu, and don't take him to the World Cup and take somebody else, even when the number four position was your biggest concern. You played Ambati Rayudu the entire year and dropped him before World Cup and nobody knows the reason. India haven't lifted an ICC trophy since 2013 and it's high time they utilise their home condition to end their trophy drought.

Ambati Rayudu couldn't find his place in the 2019 World Cup squad
MSK Prasad was heading the Indian selection committee which faced severe criticism for their dubious selection. Ambati Rayudu's performance made him an automatic choice leading to the World Cup. But for the number four position slot went to Vijay Shankar who was a surprise inclusion to the squad. The decision shocked everyone and India eventually went on to lose in the final four.
Devang Gandhi, Sharandeep Singh, Jatin Paranjpe and Gagan Khoda were also a part of the selection panel which took the drastic decision which didn't favour the Men in Blue at all. Gautam Gambhir criticised the selection committee as he claimed that was the worst selection committee in the history of Indian cricket.
