Swiggy noted Suryakumar Yadav's snacking episode during India's thrilling World Cup clash against Australia on X (formerly Twitter). To the delight of Indian cricket fans, the company added a clever caption to their post, likening Yadav to a backbencher student sneaking bites during class. Their caption read: "backbenchers eating tiffin during the 2nd period."

Suryakumar Yadav did not feature in the playing XI for the team's opening match against Australia. Nevertheless, Team India secured a comfortable six-wicket victory, earning two valuable points, and is now set to face Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 11. After their clash against Afghanistan, India will lock horns against arch-rivals Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
