Wasim Akram lauds India's bowling

Former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram has showered praise on the bowling trio of India. Speaking to A Sports, Akram stated that the Indian bowlers have a belief in themselves that is combined with their hard work and reaping results.

"For starters, as a bowler, the confidence at this level has got to be like 'I am one of the best', and these guys (Indian pacers) have that confidence. Once you have that, then all the hard work you have done over the years (pays off)," Akram said.

Akram further highlighted Mohammad Shami's brilliant seam position and was all praise for the 33-year-old's skillful show in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

"Shami's every delivery hits the seam, it's not wobble, just goes straight and kisses the pitch. He doesn't bang the ball in," Akram continued.

Team India's sheer dominance in ICC ODI World Cup 2023

After overcoming the initial trouble against Australia in the first match, Team India has ransacked every team they have squared off in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. From annihilating the Aussies to vanquishing Pakistan, the Indian team has emerged as the outright invincible, with the objective set, i.e., to conquer the world. While the team is certain to top the standings in the round-robin stage, but from here Rohit Sharma and Co. have to forget everything and start anew because one hiccup could end the entire dream.
