No Rohit Sharma! Cricket Australia names Kohli as the captain of World Cup team of the tournament
Cricket Australia revealed their World Cup team of the tournament and Virat Kohli has been picked as the captain to lead the team.
The Cricket World Cup is edging to its climax as the group stage has already seen its closure as with India's match against Netherlands. Four semifinalists India, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa will be fighting amongst themselves in the last four. The final will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Cricket Australia released their team of the tournament
Cricket Australia has revealed its Team of the tournament and Virat Kohli has been handed the mantle to lead the team. Surprisingly, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who has been in tremendous form, missed out on this occasion. Indian players dominated the side as three more players Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja have been included in the team.
Virat Kohli also has been in sensational touch but it is Rohit Sharma who has provided the team with a wonderful start in almost every match. The 36-year-old's fearless batting has paved a wonderful stage for the Indian batsmen which has been one of the reasons behind Team India's exemplary display. Rohit has also been on point with his leadership antics and India are two steps adrift of lifting the ODI World Cup for the third time.

Quinton de Kock and David Warner have been picked as the opening pair. Rachin Ravindra will be in the third number followed up by Virat Kohli, Aiden Markram and Glenn Maxwell next. Marco Jansen and Ravindra Jadeja will serve as the two all-rounders while Shami and Bumrah will have Adam Zampa to shoulder the bowling responsibility.
Sri Lanka's Dilshan Madushanka is the twelfth man.
