Bangladesh Madrasa Explosion Injures Four | Bombs & Chemicals Recovered | Dhaka Unrest
Panic was sparked on Saturday as a strong explosion tore through a madrasa in Hasnabad, South Keraniganj, close to Dhaka. Four persons, including two toddlers and an elderly person, were injured in the explosion that happened during suspected bomb-making operations. The single-story madrasa building sustained significant damage, and one child is reportedly in critical condition.
Bombs, cocktail explosives, hydrogen peroxide, and other ingredients used to make bombs were found by police from the scene. According to the authorities, Mufti Harun initially rented the madrasa, which was thereafter managed by his family. To find out how bombs were produced and stored within the holy organization, a thorough investigation is in progress.
