Trump Fires US Attorney General Pam Bondi, Reportedly Over Mishandling of Epstein Files

President Donald Trump has fired U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, a long-time loyalist, after a year in office. Reports suggest the decision followed major frustrations over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and the pace of political prosecutions. With Bondi out, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, Todd Blanche, has stepped in as the Acting Attorney General. Blanche previously served as Deputy Attorney General and is now leading the Department of Justice.
