China Upholds Its 'Unstoppable' Annexing Plan Against Taiwan After Largest Military Drill

In his New Year's speech, Chinese President Xi Jinping boldly asserted that the "reunification" of Taiwan with mainland China is a "unstoppable" historical tendency. 

Following the conclusion of the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) largest-ever military drills around Taiwan, known as "Justice Mission 2025" and including dozens of warships, more than 89 warplanes, live-fire rocket launches, and simulated blockades of important ports, the PLA made this strong declaration.
