How Pakistan Is Opening Doors for US Attack in Iran

United States strike on Iranian nuclear or military facilities would fundamentally necessitate a multi-front approach where the cooperation of Pakistan becomes a critical variable. A direct frontal assault from the Persian Gulf faces saturation from anti-ship missiles and dense air defense bubbles so US planners would likely pressure Islamabad for an eastern corridor to circumvent these high-risk zones. This logistical and airspace support from Pakistan allows American forces to bypass heavily fortified western zones.

Pakistani air bases such as Dalbandin and Pasni would be instrumental for refueling and maintenance, which extends the operational range of US aircraft striking deep into Iranian territory. While the western boundary of Iran is heavily guarded with dense air defense networks protecting Tehran and industrial centers the eastern frontier presents a strategic vulnerability. This region bordering Pakistan is less militarized and offers a wider dispersal of targets with fewer radar installations. Access to Pakistani airspace allows US planes to enter and exit safely through this less protected corridor. By utilizing this eastern approach, commanders can avoid the saturated anti-access systems in the west and increase the survivability of their assets during a conflict.
