Israel Votes Today: 7.3 Million Decide Netanyahu’s Future As Elections Begin | Gadi Eisenkot
Israelis head to the polls in a crucial parliamentary election that will decide whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains in power. Voting began at 7 am local time across the country, including in Jerusalem and among settlers in the occupied West Bank, such as in Kiryat Arba. Around 7.3 million eligible voters are casting ballots for the 120-seat Knesset. A coalition needs at least 61 seats to form a majority government. Polling stations will close at 10 pm local time, after which exit polls are expected to give the first clear indication of the results.
