Late Journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s Wife Hits Back After Trump Disses Her Husband

Soon after US President Donald Trump made disparaging comments about the late US-based Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi—murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018—his wife Hanan Elatr Khashoggi publicly condemned the remarks. She accused Trump of spreading incomplete information and even calling the US a “third-world country” while hosting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House after seven years.
