VIDEO: Who's Mark Carney, Canada's Next PM Taking On Trump's Tariff War and Annexation Threat?

Former Central Banker Mark Carney will replace Justin Trudeau to become the Prime Minister of Canada, after a Liberal Party leadership vote in a landslide. The 59-year-old banker-turned-politician was one of the frontrunners for the position.

Who is Mark Carney, All Set to Become the Canada PM?

Born in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories on March 16, 1965, 59-year-old Mark Carney was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Carney lives in Canada with his British-born wife Diana and four daughters. Mark Carney holds Canadian, UK, and Irish citizenships. He has chosen to eventually pursue Canadian citizenship exclusively, a decision that is not legally mandated but is considered politically prudent.
