Pakistan Army: Overnight Strike In Afghanistan Kills Nine Children And One Woman

At least nine children and a woman were killed when Pakistani soldiers attacked a home in the southern Khost region of Afghanistan, according to Afghan authorities. Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban government, said on Tuesday that the attack took place at midnight (19:30 GMT) in the Gurbuz area. At least four civilians were injured in other airstrikes that took place in northeastern Kunar and eastern Paktika, according to Mujahid. Pakistan did not react right away.
