Taliban Drops Urdu Song Mocking Pakistan, Slams Islamabad For Airstrikes
The Taliban has released an Urdu-language diss track titled “Ghulaam, Namak Haraam, Dalal,” targeting Pakistan’s military and government. The song accuses the Pakistan Army of being “US puppets” and “enemies of Islam” following airstrikes that killed 47 Afghan civilians. The musical attack comes after months of escalating clashes, including a Taliban assault that captured seven Pakistani posts and killed 23 soldiers.
The lyrics directly condemn Pakistani generals for bombing schools and farmland, portraying the track as a response to Islamabad’s mid-October air raids. Kabul alleges over 1,000 airstrikes and 500 incursions by Pakistan since December 2024, while Islamabad maintains it acted in self-defence. The song’s release underscores growing hostility between the two sides, as tensions along the border threaten to erupt into open conflict.
