'This Behaviour Is Deeply Troubling,' Obama Judges Trump's Presidency Over Racist Video

Former U.S. President Barack Obama says he believes most Americans still “believe in decency, courtesy, kindness,” and find a racist video posted by President Donald Trump last week to be 'deeply troubling.'
Obama made the comments during an interview conducted by podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen. The interview was taped in Los Angeles.
The racist post on Trump's social media account depicting former President Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, as primates in a jungle was taken down earlier Friday after the White House initially defended the Republican president’s Thursday night post. Trump said he won't issue an apology for posting the video. And on Friday told reporters that, 'I didn't make a mistake,' as he flew to Florida. The post was deleted after widespread backlash for its treatment of the nation’s first Black president and first lady, both Democrats.
Black and white Republicans joined civil rights advocates in criticizing the post as racist.
