Air Force One experienced mid-air drama with a passenger jet while carrying US President Donald Trump to Britain on Tuesday, according to reports. An air traffic controller had to step in after noticing the path of a Spirit Airlines jumbo jet converging with the president’s plane over Long Island, CBS and Bloomberg reported. Spirit Flight 1300, traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Boston, reportedly had a similar altitude and aligned path over New York when the ATC quickly intervened.
