In a significant diplomatic victory for India, the United States has formally designated 'The Resistance Front' as a terrorist organisation the same outfit that had claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam terror attack.

Interestingly, back in April this year, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar acknowledged that the mention of Lashkar proxy, The Resistance Front, was deliberately removed from the United Nations Security Council statement on the Pahalgam incident.
