'Trump Feels Strongly About India', Says White House Amid US Warning On Russian Oil

The White House on Tuesday stated that US President Donald Trump “feels strongly about India” and frequently speaks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deepen bilateral ties. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that President Trump holds great respect for PM Modi and that both leaders remain in regular communication.

She added that trade teams from both nations are engaged in active discussions to enhance economic cooperation, even as Washington continues to express concerns over India’s imports of Russian oil.
