The epic two-week pursuit of the Bella 1 oil tanker ship by the United States has finally come to a conclusion. The oil ship Bella 1 was destroyed on January 7, 2026. The oil tanker was illegally transporting oil to China, Iran, and Russia in order to avoid US sanctions, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Ship Bella 1 was the first ship to be captured on December 10 and went missing on December 21. Europe was its destination. However, the American soldiers were informed by British intelligence, and the Bella 1 oil vessel was busted on January 7.
