Will Iran Pay? Trump Demands Reparations For 'Damage Done'

President Donald Trump countered Iran’s demand for U.S. war reparations by insisting Tehran pay for the damage caused over a 50-year period. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump dismissed Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei's conditions to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that the U.S. Navy maintains 100% control over the strategic waterway and that the ongoing blockade has left Iran broke and unable to pay its military.
