Suryakumar Yadav, Wife Devisha Shetty Blessed With A Baby Girl: 'With Giggles, Bows, And Dreams To Unfurl'

Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha Shetty have been blessed with a baby girl on Thursday. The Mumbai Indians star took to social media to announce the arrival of a new member to his family. He didn't travel to Raipur with the MI team, where they are scheduled to face RCB on May 10.

Suryakumar posted on X, “With giggles, bows, and dreams to unfurl- we welcome our baby girl.”

The couple got married in 2016, and over the years, Devisha has had a strong presence in his husband's life. The 35-year-old has captained MI on two occasions in the absence of Hardik Pandya this season. But he hasn't had a desired impact so far for his team. He was retained by Mumbai ahead of the IPL 2026.

Will Suryakumar Yadav Feature Against RCB?

Uncertainty has now grown over Suryakumar's availability against RCB on May 10. With Hardik Pandya also not travelling with the MI squad, it has created a huge vacuum for the five-time IPL champions. The 35-year-old hasn't been at his best, amassing just 195 runs in 10 matches.

There is still time, but it is very unlikely that the player will be available for the next match, making it very hard for the MI management. If both Hardik and Suryakumar fail to feature in the next game, Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be given the leadership charge.
