Ishaan Khatter: Birthday boy's first on-screen appearance was in 2006

Ishaan Khatter made his acting debut with Beyond The Clouds back in 2018. Ishaan played the character of a street hustler, who shares a special bond with his sister. The crux of the story is based upon Ishaan's character committing a crime that lands his sister in imprisonment. His performance in his debut film as a lead brought him his first award of Best Actor at the International Bosphorous Film Festival. Though the film was a critically acclaimed affair, it failed to attain the audience's interest and flopped at the box office.  His second film as a lead, Dhadak, was a critical and commercial success at the box office. But, Beyond The Clouds was not Ishaan's first on-screen appearance.

Ishaan Khatter's first on-screen appearance

Back in 2005, Ishaan Khatter featured as a child artist in the film Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi! Ishaan Khatter's elder brother, Shahid Kapoor was the lead of the film alongside Sanjay Dutt and Amrita Rao in supporting roles. Ishaan played the role of Shahid's brother in the film. Interestingly, Radhika Apte also played the role of a child actor in the film. Ishaan was just 10 years old back when he acted in the film. Vaah! life Ho To Aisi! was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Except for this, Ishaan also worked as an assistant director in Udta Punjab which released back in 2016.
