Raveena Tandon Apologises To Fans In London For Running Away: After The Bandra Incident....

Raveena Tandon took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to pen a long note for fans who approached her seemingly for a photo in London. The actress shared that she was alone when a group of men approached her and she fled the spot in panic. She also reasoned that the incident she faced in Bandra a few months back made her react hysterically.

Raveena Tandon apologises to fans in London

On September 13, Raveena Tandon took to her social media account to pen a note explaining why she did not oblige some fans with a photograph while in London. The actress, who has had experience with road rage recently, shared that since she was alone, she panicked and decided to flee the location. She mentioned in the note that she was apologetic for her reaction.

Raveena wrote, “Hi , this is just to put on record . A few days ago in London, I was walking by and a few men approached me , I anyway have heard not such great things about the crime situation here, so I withdrew a bit when they asked if I was who I am, and my first instinct was to say no and walk away even faster as I was alone , they just wanted a picture I guess, and I most of the time oblige , but after the incident that happened in Bandra a few months ago, has left me a bit nervous and traumatised, so when I’m with people I am ok , but alone I still get a bit nervous these days.”

In her note, the Welcome To The Jungle actress continued, “I should’ve probably given them a photo as maybe they were innocent fans, but I panicked and walked away fast and just asked a security guy for help. I have felt really bad after this incident, and would want to apologise to them through this medium if they are reading, that it was not my intention to offend. I’m really sorry. Hope I can meet you again and click a picture with you maybe . I try my best to be accessible and normal , but I fail at times . So sorry guys . I hope you are reading this and know that, I shouldn’t have panicked."

Fans of the actress have come out in her support and assured her that her reaction was ‘logical’.

What happened with Raveena Tandon in Bandra? 

In June a video of Raveena Tandon getting involved in a heated road rage incident. The actress and her driver were allegedly attacked by a mob in Mumbai amid rash driving claims against the driver. A viral video shows a group of locals accusing Raveena and her driver of assaulting three women. The incident went down near her residence at Mumbai’s Carter Road, near Rizvi College.

On June 6, days after the road rage incident, Raveena Tandon took to her Instagram account to pen a note on the road rage incident. The actress expressed gratitude to her fans and followers who stood by her in the tough times. Raveena shared, “Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief and support! Moral of the story? Get dashcams and cctvs now!” She implied that since there was CCTV evidence of the actress being innocent she was able to prove what actually transpired in the situation."
