Diljit Dosanjh Defends 'Crying Girl' Who Faced Trolling For Her 'Gimmicks', Calls Her 'Desh Di Beti'

Diljit Dosanjh kickstarted the Indian leg of his Dil-luminati tour last month and has covered, Delhi, Jaipur, most recently Hyderabad. In midst of this, a video of a female fan crying at his concert in Jaipur has now gone viral on social media and netizens brutally trolled her. Diljit Dosanjh has now responded to the video.

Diljit Dosanjh during the concert tour in Hyderabad, gave a befitting reply to the trolls who made insensitive remarks on a female fan. He even shared a video and in the clip he said, “It’s okay, It’s okay to cry. Music is an emotion, it has a smile, it has a dance, it has a flight, it has a fall, it has a cry. I myself have cried a lot listening to music. Only those who have emotions can cry. I got you, I got you, don’t worry about that. These girls- no one can stop them, They are independent, not only men but women earn too. They earn and can enjoy themselves”

In the clip, he further shared that, “Inna da apmaan karrahe ho, tussi desh di beti da apmaan karrae ho, main tenu das diya gal (You are insulting her, you are insulting the daughter of the country, I’m telling you”.) Along with the video, the caption read, ““A woman who knows her worth doesn’t need validation—she shines bright enough to light her own way. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24.”

As soon as Diljit slammed the trolls, Diljit won the hearts of his fans when he stood up for her and slammed the trolls. One user wrote, “Such a beautiful human! He came across the memes.
