Last year my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A few weeks after his diagnosis was my birthday, when he asked what I wanted I told him that I just wanted to share a beer with him because I didn’t know if I’d ever get the opportunity to. (1/2)

Since it was my 19th birthday, we went on a trip to Niagara Falls, despite how much pain he was in, and we ended up getting a beer together. 3 months later he passed away. Now all I want for my birthday is to have him back :(

For you to carry that bill for 6 years... Damn if I had overheard this in the bar I'd ask the bartender to break a 20, two 10s. "Please give me the one marked 630."

While losing a father could be one of the most difficult things in one's life, losing an offspring is equally traumatising. One father, who lost his son, decided to help several other people by donating his son's organs to those in need. A video of this father getting a special gift from the recipient of his son's heart surfaced on the internet.
Earlier, the man received a heartwarming gift from the recipient of his son's heart. The heart recipient sent the father a teddy bear. It was no ordinary teddy bear though, as when the father brought the bear close to his ear, he could hear the recording of his departed son's heartbeat. In a truly touching moment, the father breaks down into tears as the camera fades to black.
