Pakistani Actress Mahira Khan Shares Rare Photo Of Son Azlan On His Birthday, Pens A Heartfelt Note

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan celebrated her son Azlan's 15th birthday and shared a rare photo the day he was born. The actress was 24 when she welcomed Azlan with her first husband Ali Askari. Mahira and Ali separated in 2015, five years after welcoming their son in 2010.

Mahira Khan pens a heartfelt note to wish son Azlan on his birthday

Taking to her Instagram handle, Mahira shared a major throwback photo along with a heartfelt birthday note. The photo is from Azlan's day of birth. Mahira is seen looking at her son with love-filled eyes. She started her note by writing, "A 24 year old me, looking at my entire world stare at me - my one and my only Azlan (earth emoticon) 15.09.09."

"May Allah keep my Azlan and all children safe, may they be blessed with happy, healthy and long lives. May they choose the good path. May they always always be protected from evil. Ameen. Ameen. As my Ama says - saari maaoon ke dil thanday rakh ya rabb. Ameen inshAllah," she continued.

She concluded by writing, "P.S this is the song that was sung to Azzu the most while he was in my tummy and when he was born! He still loves the Beatles ⚡️ oh and MJ!"

Meanwhile, Mahira is now married to Salim Karim, an entrepreneur. The couple exchanged the vows in an intimate ceremony in Bhurban in 2023.

What's next for Mahira Khan?

The actress has been busy shooting for her next movie Neelofar, co-starring Fawad Khan and Madiha Imam. The film was written and directed by Ammar Rasool and co-produced by Fawad Khan. It will mark Mahira and Fawad's thrid project together after  hit TV series Humsafar and movie The Legend of Maula Jatt. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in 2025.
