Top Earning South Star Once Preferred Modelling Over Acting, Has Now Worked With Prabhas, Vijay

Actress Trisha Krishnan has established herself as a leading actress in Tamil film industry. She is currently one of the bankable and stunning actors in Kollywood. In an interview, during the early days of her career she had once said that she preferred modelling over acting.

Trisha: Acting not my cup of tea

In an interview with Yugi, when Trisha was asked why she was always more inclined to do modelling than acting. The actress candidly said, “I gave a modelling a try. I really enjoyed it”. She further said, No, not at all. It’s not my cup of tea. I prefer modelling”.

Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan’s all-time classic 96 received acclaim from critics has been given green light for sequel. During a recent interview with Cine Ulgam, director Prem Kumar revealed his plans to make a sequel. He also said that the film will go on floors once Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan’s dates are finalised. He expressed his happiness and enthusiasm by saying that Vijay’s wife loves the story.

Trisha’s rise to stardom

Trisha Krishnan made her acting debut with film Jodi in 1999. The actress got recognition with the film titled Saamy. Following this she featured in several films including Varsham, Athadu , Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule and Ponniyin Selvan among others.

Trisha made her Bollywood debut with Khatta Meetha in 2010 alongside Akshay Kumar .

She has also bagged several accolades including  International Tami Film Awards, Nandi Awards, Norway Tamil Film Festival Festival Awards, Santosham Film Awards, Vijay Awards, Zee Cine Awards and South Indian International Movie Awards among others.
