KBC 16: Amitabh Bachchan Reacts To Contestant's Claims Of Designers Coping His Designs

KBC 16 latest update: The game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan is being loved by netizens. With every episode, an interesting turn of events happens. In the latest episode, a contestant has revealed a surprising claim.

KBC 16 contestant’s revelation

A contestant named Devang Aggarwal took over the hot seat and played the game quite well. During the show, Devang revealed that has a Banarasi saree business and claimed that the designers copy his designs.

Elaborating about his business, the contestant shared that it was started by his grandfather and later taken over by his father. Now, the responsibility of business has been passed down to him. He emphasized the importance of trust in close associates owing to the risk of design leaks.  In response to this, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Vahi toh main janna chah raha the designing hai bada kathin karma Hota hai”
 

Contestant Devang Aggarwal then explained that it takes 6 months to a year (minimum) to design a single pattern and highlighted the issue of design leaks if not protected. On hearing this, Big B questioned whether the designs that trend depended on him. Big B asked, “Dekh kar banate hai? Contestant responded, nahi nahi vo hum log ko dekh kar karte hai. (No, they copy us.)” Big B said, Acha hua bata Diya, hum bhi soche kahan se ata hai inn sab ke pass aise jo hai.” For the unversed, contestant Devang Aggarwal managed to win over ₹ 12,50,000.

This game show began airing on Sony TV in July 2000 and is the longest-running quiz series, originally offering a top prize of ₹1 crore. A new segment called 'Super Sawaal' was started. After crossing the first threshold of Rs. 10,000, a question is presented without any options.

The show premiered on Sony TV on August 12, airs new episodes Monday to Friday at 9 pm and is also streaming on Sony LIV.
